About Me

I grew up in a family that dealt with the paranormal. My parents
Charlie and Geri Wilhelm were the directors of the UFO Investigator’s League in Fairfield, Ohio, back in the 1970s. They also investigated ghost hauntings and Bigfoot sightings in addition to extraterrestrial cases. Growing up in this type of environment and having the passion for writing is what drove me at an early age to write stories dealing with the paranormal world. My fascination with the unknown is what led me to write the Beyond the Eyes trilogy, its companion, Tangled Roots and my paranormal thriller, Ameerah.

I was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. At the age of eight, my parents divorced, my mom remarried and moved my sister and me to Phoenix, Arizona. I had a difficult childhood, however, dealing with and talking about the paranormal world still remained a constant in my household.

When I was twenty, I moved to Prescott, Arizona and met my wonderful husband (Kevin) there. Before I moved to Prescott, I had a dream about Kevin and was told I’d meet him.

Weird, right?

You can imagine my surprise when he walked into my mom’s house. I was like, "That’s the dude who was in my dream!" Not only that, I knew without a doubt he was the "one."

I was right. :)

A year and a half later, we got married and life with Kevin has been the best ever. In 2006 we moved to a small farming community in rural North Dakota and love it. I do miss the woods, though.

I don’t have any kids. I can’t have them. I do have a four-legged kid . . . um, a cat named Church. He’s our entertainment and has a wonderful personality. He can be a pain-in-the-ass but we all can, right?

I’ve written six books, but only four of them are published (the Beyond the Eyes trilogy, Tangled Roots, and Ameerah). The first book I've ever written will never be released to the public. I was going to turn it into a novella but changed my mind.
I've had more than a few people ask me if there will be another book in the trilogy. I'm still pondering over whether I should or not. More than likely I will because there are still a lot of adventures that awaits Paige and the gang. But we'll see how well the trilogy does. I do think fans of this trilogy is in for a treat with Tangled Roots and Ameerah. I think they'll enjoy it. :)

One of my major goals in life and what I've been striving for is to make enough off of my books to write for a living, and I will not give up on that dream. I love to write stories, I love my fans, and I love the authors I meet.

I have an irreverent sense of humor. One of my favorite movies is Pulp Fiction. I love coffee, I’m fiercely loyal, honest, open-minded, dependable, protective over the ones I love, dirty minded, yummy food makes me happy, I love to read and write (of course), The CW The Originals & The Vampire Diaries are my favorite TV shows. I also love the show Supernatural, though, I haven’t seen it in ages.

Anyway, that’s about me for now. Enjoy the rest of my blog and books. I love to connect with people, so don’t be shy to make a comment. I’d love to hear from you. :)
